老樹牽手百年 地下情終扶正

我們要結婚了！九如鄉三塊村2棵百年老樹相距3公尺，地底早已盤根錯節，地方居民為將「地下情」扶正，13日特地依循古禮舉辦老樹婚禮，全村居民總動員（見左圖，林和生攝），現場有嫁妝牛車、熱鬧弄獅，象徵要將長長久久的甜蜜幸福分享給全村人。
三塊社區發展協會理事長楊慧貞指出，當初先人來到現地開墾，開道打造成為聚落，不過現址謝姓人家見2棵龍眼及芒果樹皆結實纍纍，跳過2樹沒有伐除，起家厝也依此而生，果真這2棵果樹沒讓人失望，樹勢長得旺盛、挺拔健康，每年還讓大家享用可口果實。
2樹樹齡皆超過150歲，見證社區數代人家起落，午後微風徐徐吹來，孩子樹下、樹上遊戲，老人家則在樹蔭下乘涼，一直是居民最佳休憩場所，也是九如人美好回憶。日前，一位樹木專家現場勘查，直呼底下樹根早已「牽手」百年，就是這句浪漫話語，讓村民決定催生這場老樹婚禮。
昨日全村總動員，龍眼婆與芒果公就在鄉親祝福下締結連理，囍事現場有車鼓隊迎賓、嫁妝一牛車、阿公阿嬤來弄獅與樂團表演，還有美味飯湯與料理，全程依循古禮進行，鄰近社區友人也來沾喜氣，不少白髮蒼蒼長輩言談間回憶幼時樹下度過的童年時光，記憶猶新彷彿都是昨天才剛發生的事。
這2棵老樹陪伴村民度過百個秋冬，當地耆老說，緊鄰老樹沒有特別祭拜或特殊神祉故事，卻和當地人生活密不可分，平淡感覺有時更能讓人感覺幸福。
屏縣府文化處長吳錦發表示，走遍全台，像這樣高壯挺拔的夫妻樹很罕見，本土種龍眼樹與荷蘭人引進的土芒果樹結連理也很有意思，現場最感動的是社區凝聚力，上下一起動員慶祝，祝福社區長輩也能像老樹般健康平安到百歲。
